Hi, I am Annaline

Twelve years ago I left my Wall Street job and became a day trader.

In January 2008, I turned my passion for the stock market and business into a successful walking tour company, called Wall Street Walks that focused on the business of Wall Street.Ā  Over the years, I have provided tours and educational workshops to thousands of people, and spoke at numerous conferences and education related events. My company was featured on CNN and in The Daily Telegraph, USA Today, and Newsday.

When the Covid pandemic threw the world into a tailspin, IĀ took my in-person tours and workshops online withĀ Teach Me Wall Street!

Over the past year, I presented over 50 live multi-day boot camps. I worked closely with experts during this period, and consistently enhanced the content of my classes by adding hands-on activities and exercises designed to keep students engaged while learning.

I’ve learned a lot over the past year, and can shorten the learning curve for you!

Hi, I am Annaline

Covid brought my business to a halt and I took my in person classes online. It was my 1st ever live online training and it set me on fire. I realized I loved the energy and magic of live classes.

Since then I have taught more than 50 live online Boot Camps, ranging from 1 to 12 hours. I have changed my teaching from lecture style to be a hands-on, fun and interactive class. My students love it.

I decided to create a course teaching fellow online teachers what I learned and how I changed my teaching.

How it began...

In July 2020 I taught my first online class

Adapting the content of my in-person classes, that accompanied many of my walking tours was no easy task. From day one,  I collected feedback from students.  Overall, it was very positive, but there were a few responses that made me take notice.  Students wrote:

  • It’s difficult to listen to lectures for long periods of time.
  • I get lost when the information is delivered too quickly.
  • I get distracted when listening to one person speak continuously.

That set me on a quest to figure out how to make my classes more engaging and interactive.

After working with several experts, and experimenting on my own, I cracked the code.  I discovered that making my classes more hands-on and interactive was key to keeping my students engaged!! Now, I never have bored, distracted students in my classes, and my repeat and referral client base is growing!
